Debian users! SuperCollider 3.6.6 is now available in debian jessie
(testing) as well as in sid (unstable). If anyone wants to try it out
that would be nice.

Before I update, though - do you know if that version suffers from the
DiskIn >2 channels bug?

I've not been following that discussion, but a quick look over at
github suggests no-one has fixed it at all - not in 3.6 or in master.
You know the standard response... "patches welcome"... that's all we
have right now...
